Class Description
Students will learn different categories and history of cakes, the role and history of ingredients, and gain many life-long baking skills. They will practice different techniques as they mix and bake their own cakes in class. If time permits on a class day, they may practice with cake decorating icing tips.

Additional Info:
Parents and students will need to have an understanding of what the student may or may not eat in this class. The students will be exposed to allergens of wheat, milk, eggs, nuts, soy, dye, seeds. Because it is a baking class, the students will all follow the same recipes. Allergen ingredients will not be omitted nor will allergy free products be purchased to substitute in the recipes.
