Class Description
This elementary oceanography course is designed to introduce students to the fascinating world of oceans and marine life. This course will cover fundamental concepts related to oceanography, including the physical, chemical, biological and geological aspects of the marine environment. Students will explore the diverse marine ecosystems, marine life forms, ocean currents, tides, and the impact of human activities on the oceans. Through a combination of lecture and hands-on activities, students will have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty and complexity of the marine environment.

Please send your student with basic supplies each week including: scissors, glue/glue stick, crayons/colored pencils and pencil. All other supplies needed will be provided.
