Class Description
Welcome to Middle Grade Book Club. Each week, there will be assigned reading to be completed before class. (except for the first class.) You may choose your preferred way to read a book- audio, eBook, or paper are all great choices. I will be handing out a notebook the first week of class. We will have different prompts for discussions. Students are encouraged to take notes about what they are reading.
During class, we will share a snack and discuss the weekly reading. Then a small activity that relates to the current book. We will wrap up by going over the next week's assignment and who has snack.
For snack- each child will sign up to bring snack and juice pouches for a few times, depending on how many children are in class. The last week will be a small party, where everyone can bring a small treat to share.
I will set up a Google Classroom so that you will know what we are doing each week. Please have a parent and/or student join.
