Part grammar lessons
All fun!
Each class will include a discussion about the week's reading selection and a copy work selection for the week. Before class is over we will discuss, in detail, various part of grammar used to build the copy work sentences in a spiral learning fashion.
At the parents discretion, Brave Writer's Arrow for book one can be used at home for a deeper dive. Found online as a download. Alternatively, I will encourage students to complete it 2 more times on their own and may offer additional assignments to expand on a particular subject. The additional assignments are not required but will help build a more complete learning experience. (Ie, "Use as many adjectives as you can to describe the dragon you created in class" or "using commas to make a list inside of a sentence tell us how many different recipes you can make using apples."
At the end of the book we will throw a "Good Enough Party" Brave Writer style with snacks and extension activities.
