Class Description
This class will require a tablet or phone for the STOP MOTION app. This app will be used to create stop motion masterpieces. They will learn the basics of stop motion which includes positions, lighting, and film speed. I will teach many tricks to enhance their movie creation. Stop motion will practice their patience and attention to details. I will provide lego figures to learn these skills. As they advance, they are welcome to bring personal items from home to include in their film. I hope by the end of the semester they can share some great clips and perhaps a short film. All skill levels are welcome and I will challenge each child based on their skill sets. If your child can not open the program or learn the key functions independently then they must wait until they can independently work on the platform without assistance. If you have concerns about this, please reach out and I will happily assist in determining. The app is a 1 time charge of a few dollars, depends on your device that you are using.
