Class Description
This is a semester approach to Astronomy. Each weeks we will cover a chapter of the textbook. Students should read the chapter before class and then during class we will review, do note booking activities from the corresponding notebook journal. We will also pull in outside activities and experiments occasionally and sometimes videos or books. By the end of the semester we will finish the entire book and have a better understanding of astronomy!

What class supplies do parents need to provide?
Parents need to have the textbook and the note booking journal at the age appropriate level (junior or regular). Junior has less writing for younger astronomers.
Will homework be required for this class?
No
Additional Info:
Though I will never make students feel bad if they forget to do their reading before class they will not get as much from this class if they are not doing the reading at home each week. It is about 30 mins a week and you can get the audiobook from apologia if this would help complete the readings.
