Class Description
Welcome to the fun side of Schole.
In class, students will solve a riddle, discuss books, learn about poetry, read a funny reader’s theater play, and create a Commonplace journal with favorite quotes, drawings, and stickers. There will also be tea or hot chocolate.
The students will also work on creating a class play (with each student writing a scene) to perform at the Student Showcase.
At home, the student will write their class play scene. They will also read/listen to three books (Island of the Blue Dolphin, Phantom Tollbooth, and Wrinkle in Time) and create fun book projects (one every 4 weeks) to place on the Showcase table.
