Class Description
Get ready to roll up your sleeves, ignite your curiosity, and dive into the incredible world of physics! In this hands-on lab course, students won’t just learn about the laws of nature—they’ll test them, challenge them, and see them in action. From building simple machines to launching projectiles, measuring gravity, and mastering the mysteries of motion, this lab-based class brings textbook concepts to life. Each week, students will conduct exciting experiments that illuminate topics such as Newton’s Laws, energy transformations, electricity and magnetism, wave behavior, and more. Designed specifically for high school students in a homeschool co-op setting, this class emphasizes collaboration, critical thinking, and scientific discovery. Whether you're preparing for college-level science or just love asking "why," this course will empower you to explore the physical universe like a true scientist. Come ready to experiment, question, and be amazed—because physics isn’t just a subject. It’s how the universe works.

Class Supply Fee

What class supplies do parents need to provide?
Occasionally I may ask students to bring some easy to find supplies. If this happens, it will be easy to fine, household items, or dollar store type pick ups. Hoping to keep that to a minimum with the supply fee asked for, but also want to make this a great lab class for our high schoolers.

Will homework be required for this class?
No

Additional Info:
This is a LAB only class. My son will be using Masterbooks Highs School Physics curriculum, but I will have each week's topic on the syllabus so that you can go over that topic in your own curriculum prior to class.
