Class Description
This class will focus on learning history through biographies. We will use the Who Was book series and students will read 1 book of their choice each week before class. They will check these books out from my library and do a short activity on each person they study. During class time we will also use picture book biographies to learn about at least 25 different people during the semester. At the end of the semester we will participate in a living history museum activity where students will dress up to represent a person they have learned about and be able to tell others about them.

reading will take place at home for the weekly checked out book, this means the books need to be returned weekly for the check out system to work. Please do your best to get these books back to us each week, read. You may read to your student of have them read it to you or even independently to themselves.
