Class Description
This semester we will cover the first four books of the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling. Students will read/listen to specific chapters of the books before class each week. We will discuss the literature and occasionally do crafts and activities related to the reading material.
It is IMPERATIVE that students read the material before class. This class is meant to enrich the reading material, not replace it. If the student has read the books before, they will need to review the chapters assigned to ensure they do not give spoilers to other students in class. Again, please ensure that the books are available and reading is completed before coming to class each and every week.

What class supplies do parents need to provide?
Notebook or coloring book and writing utensils to doodle in class while we talk through the reading material.

Additional Info:
I cannot emphasize enough that reading before class is a must. It is challenging to have discussions and be inclusive if students haven't kept up with the reading. Audiobooks are perfectly acceptable, too!
Lastly, there are dark themes later in the books, so please be sure you are familiar.
