Class Description
Students will learn theater basics, concepts and acting techniques with an opportunity to present a personal piece (such as a monologue or scene with a classmate) at the end of semester showcase, should they so choose. We will cover techniques like projection, expression, tableau, mime, improvisation, oral interpretation of literature, creative movement, character analysis, objectives, tactics, subtext, etc. in a small class setting with the opportunity for guidance to further develop and hone their performances. Great for a student already in theater and looking to advance their performances skills or an interested student that is entirely new to it but not ready to commit to a production, or anywhere in between!
