Class Description
Get ready to travel the globe—no suitcase required! In this course, students will explore science, technology, engineering, and math through exciting STEM challenges inspired by countries around the world. Each week, we’ll “visit” a new destination and tackle a fun, problem-solving activity based on real-world innovations, environments, or cultural designs. From building sturdy bridges like engineers in China to designing earthquake-resistant structures in Japan and creating solar-powered solutions inspired by Mexico, students will engage in creative challenges that encourage critical thinking, teamwork, and curiosity. Along the way, they’ll also learn about geography, famous inventions, and how STEM is used in everyday life across different cultures. This multi-age class is designed to be engaging and accessible for both younger and older elementary students, with flexible challenges that can be adapted to different skill levels. Perfect for curious learners who love to build, experiment, and explore the world through STEM!
